Mesa, Arizona puts Sonoran Desert adventure, water recreation, arts and family experiences within easy reach. Hike among saguaros at Usery Mountain Regional Park, paddle Saguaro Lake, float the Lower Salt River or catch a wave at Revel Surf at Cannon Beach. Just beyond the city, the Superstition Mountains and historic Apache Trail open the door to even more desert exploration.

Downtown Mesa brings a different side of the city into focus. See contemporary art or a live performance at Mesa Arts Center, explore dinosaurs and Arizona history at the Arizona Museum of Natural History, and give younger travelers room to create at the idea Museum. Add local dining, public art, shops and live music, and it’s easy to pair a morning outdoors with an afternoon or evening in Downtown Mesa.
